Bihar Librarian Recruitment 2025: Total 6,500 Vacancies

The Bihar education department has finalised draft regulations for the launch of Bihar Librarian Recruitment Scheme 2025, under which 6,500 vacancies of librarians in government secondary and higher secondary schools will be filled. The initiative, the first in 14 years, is awaiting approval from the finance and law departments and subsequently from the state cabinet. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will oversee the recruitment process. Selected candidates will get a competitive salary (Rs 31,000 to Rs 32,000 per month) at par with secondary school teachers, in addition to benefits such as dearness allowance (DA), house rent allowance (HRA), New Pension Scheme benefits and retirement age of 60 years.

Number of Vacancies and Salary for Librarian in Bihar
